Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa, currently held in judicial custody in the Renukaswamy murder case, was transferred on Thursday from Parappana Agrahara Central prison to Ballari prison with heightened security measures. This move to Ballari, known as the ‘Kala Pani of Karnataka’ due to its inadequate facilities, will likely be Darshan's residence until September, with the possibility of attending court hearings through video calls.
